Our small school community raised so much food for our local food bank that we had to call in the fire department to help us deliver. A thank you to Lucas Hanna, station captain, Denies Doyle, safety officer, Sparky, Shiromi Sayakkarage, firefighter, and Andy Moore, Rideau Lakes Chief.
Students and firefighters worked together to load the food into the trucks who immediately delivered to the Westport food bank. Our small school community donated almost 350 items - a huge accomplishment for 77 students.
