Happy New Year and welcome to 2026! We are very excited to welcome all students back as we begin the New Year together. As we get into the winter months, we are looking forward to a number of hands-on learning experiences for our students, both in and out of the classroom. All students in Grades 2- 8 will have the opportunity to visit Icelynd in Stittsville this month, our younger students will also have a skating afternoon at the Westport arena this month. A number of classes will be looking at joining the Friday public skating as part of their gym classes over the next couple of months as well. In February we will be launching our Esports club and Team for students interested in playing Esports this year. Mr. Gord is in the process of launching is annual hockey tournament for classes as well in the near future. As a school we will continue to look for unique opportunities to integrate and meaningfully use technology as part of our learning process while ensuring we are supporting all students in key areas of Math and Language.
