As October comes to an end, we have had a very busy and exciting fall here in Westport. Our school participated in both the boys and girls Lanark County Soccer championships and also held a friendly exhibition game with our cross-town neighbors from Rideau Vista. Last week our cross-country team visited Perth and participated in the Lanark County meet, with our student athletes picking up a 1st place and 2nd place overall in 2 different divisions. We were fortunate to have presentations to our grade 4 - 8 students leading into Remembrance Day. Our school had a visit from Shane Peters for Fire Safety as well this month.
